In my edits of footage, I have had two scenes together that I have always intended to merge and create a swipe transition. The woman literally stepping through the transition from 'red' to 'green', fantasy to a more 'ethereal' world, would hopefully bring the intended 'narrative' piece to the foreground and illustrate the contrast between colours.
By masking in AfterEffects I tried to create this intended transition with the above video's result. Whilst it illustrates the idea, it ends up looking tacky. Perhaps if I had more time put into this it could have been passable, but instead I decided to remove this transition.
