As a group we discussed how we wanted the film to play out - and the main frames and shots we wanted/ could manage - I drew this very roughly as this was planned out, to give an idea of the camera movements and angles as well as framing. I had some difficulty when trying to visualise the position of characters.
This 'storyboard' acts more of a prompt for myself to draw a better more detailed one for everyone than an actual stand-alone piece of work.
In order to address the problem of how we wanted the characters to stand/ walk past each other, we used Lego men to visualise and 'act out' the key movements. This also allowed us to photograph/ record and create reference images that I could later use for the actual storyboard. This image illustrates how the reference images helped the creation of the storyboard.
